A comprehensive guide to installing and managing your DriveX platform.

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the DriveX - Drive to Web Platform script. Host a static website on Google Drive to web for free. Publish HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files directly into a high-performance website. With DriveX, you can easily turn Google Drive into a reliable web hosting solution for landing pages, portfolios, documentation, or personal projects.

Before You Start

Before uploading the script, please configure your cPanel File Manager with these two important settings:

  1. Go to your website's root directory. In the code block below is a common example.
    2. public_html
  2. In the File Manager, click the Settings gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner. In the popup, check the following boxes:
    • ✅ Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)
    • ✅ Disable Character Encoding Verification Dialogs

System Requirements

The system requirements are the same as those automatically verified during Step 1 of the installation wizard. Key requirements include:

  • PHP Version 8.0 or higher
  • cURL extension enabled
  • JSON extension enabled
  • SSL (HTTPS) active
  • Standard PHP functions like allow_url_fopen and file_get_contents enabled.

Installation

Follow these simple steps to get your platform running:

  1. Upload the main.zip file to your website's root directory and extract it.
  2. After extraction, ensure the .htaccess file is visible. This is why enabling "Show Hidden Files" is critical.
  3. Run the installation wizard by navigating to the URL below (replace with your domain).
    4. https://yourdomain.com/install
  4. Follow the easy on-screen instructions until you reach the "Finish" page.
CRITICAL SECURITY STEP

After a successful installation, you must delete the entire /install directory from your server. This prevents anyone from running the installer again and compromising your website.

Admin Panel

  1. You can access your admin panel at https://yourdomain.com/admin
  2. Enter the security PIN you created during the installation process.
  3. Once logged in, you have full control to manage the entire platform.

Admin Panel Features

  • Dashboard: View comprehensive statistics for daily, weekly, and total generated websites. Track VIP members and suspended sites, all visualized with an advanced bar chart powered by Chart.js.
  • Website: Manage all user websites from a central database. You can assign VIP plans to specific members, suspend/unsuspend sites, and permanently terminate websites using the delete feature.
  • Post Update: Send update notifications and announcements directly to website owners. These messages will appear in their respective user dashboards.
  • General Setting: Configure all global settings for your platform. This includes adjusting your website's SEO metadata and updating your admin security PIN.
